End of 2017 and what's in store for 2018 at Meadow Rose Quilts

Welcome to the last day of 2017. It has been a year of great successes and not so great successes. Not gonna say they are failures, just not successes yet! Thought I'd share a bit of both as I review 2017 and plan for 2018. CHALLENGE 2017 I started the year with the goal of finishing 52 quilted projects. I succeeded in finishing and blogging about 27 finished quilts. I KNOW I've completed more quilts, but somehow I lost my mojo for blogging about them. Time in the sun

We are smack dab in the middle of our late fall-early winter time in the sun. We've been heading to Mexico for 4 years now in an attempt to prevent my annual no sun Seasonal Affective Disorder melt down. SAD is a seasonal depression and for me is characterized by drawing away from people and anxiety over any decision I need to make.  Sometimes even the decision between tea or coffee can be a challenge! I've struggled Christmas for as long as I can remember and as the Birth of our Savior is a key part of my faith that really really sucked!!!!
