Longarm Quilting Services

Longarm Quilting services at Meadow Rose Quilts can be simply quilted and reasonably priced or more densely quilted with a variety of prices.  Please call  or text to book a no charge consultation.  403-819-8126.

NOTE: It is super important that quilt borders be sewn correctly. Many times a longarmer's nightmare are borders that ripple and wave. This is caused by borders not being measured, cut and sewn correctly.  Review this page I've created for you with instructions for sewing the perfect border on your quilt.

Basting Services

The one thing I didn't like when I was quilting on a sit down machine was basting my quilt layers together.  This often involved crawling around on the floor or stretching over multiple large tables and pricking my fingers with pins or breathing in the chemicals of basting sprays.

  • I can load your quilt layers on a longarm frame and baste them together with a basting stitch.  The basting stitches are approximately 4" apart.

  • You can come and baste your quilt (with help and supervision) on my frame.

I offer a selection of paper pantographs that can be used to quilt your quilt.  You are welcome to bring a pantograph of your own.  Pantographs are stitched from edge to edge.  $35 minimum charge to 3¢ per square inch.

I offer a selection of over 500 computerized designs that can be stitched on your quilt. You are welcome to bring a design of your own on a thumb drive for me to use. Most designs are stitched from edge to edge.  $35 minimum charge to 3¢ per square inch.

I offer an unlimited selection of edge to edge (all over) free hand quilting designs.  We can discuss the most appropriate pattern for your quilt.  $35 minimum charge to 3¢ per square inch.
