MONDAY MAKES

Join me on 6 Monday evenings for a fun block making class!  Each lesson (of 6) will focus on 1 or more of the Studio 180 Design tools.   In each lesson we'll learn how to use the tools, explore different ways to colour or organize your fabrics in the block and make at least 1 block.  You can spend the alternating weeks making a 2nd block for a 12 block sampler quilt or work on the complementary quilt pattern.  Register for 1 class at a time or register for all 6 at once.  If you register for all 6, you'll receive a pattern for a couple of ways to finish your quilt top.

Here's what you get for $25

  • Pattern and written instructions for a 12" block, along with 2-3 colouring sheets to help you make the block your own.  Each  lesson will be a different block using different tools. You will end up with 6-12 blocks for a sampler quilt.

  • tips for colour choices

  • demonstration of the tool use for both right hand and left hand quilters

  • sew together the units and blocks for a completed 12" block

  • tips for pressing

  • a small quilt/wall-hanging or table runner pattern that will give you further practice using the tools and making the block
