I've completed another quilt in my Challenge for 2017 and 2018. The goal is to complete 52 (1 per week in 2017) and 12 (1 per month in 2018) Quilts! I'm getting there. I have a few more to share with you and some that I need to finish binding before I share. I may make it!!!!
This quilt is a simple disappearing 9 patch quilt. I am in the process of writing a pattern for it. A disappearing 9-patch is a very simple quilt, but many of us can never figure out what fabrics to use and how much fabric to purchase for the size of quilt we are making.
The goal is to produce a pattern that will give you 6 different sizes and at least 3 different fabric combinations (FQs, scrap and planned).
I used the Handi Quilter Pro-Stitcher Premium to quilt these lovely loops. The design is called Suzy Loops 001 from Sweet Dreams Quilt Studio.
Just to show some options, this is a green scrap quilt.
And this is a 2 colour quilt using batiks.
This is a good way to make a quilt quickly and no 2 quilts will be the same!
If you are interested in being a pattern tester for me, please give me a shout!
