Studio 180 Design - Tucker Trimer & Wing Clipper, in person sew day at Bow Bench Retreat, Carstairs AB

Join me as we explore and play with the Tucker Trimmer tool and the Wing Clipper tool to make perfect Half Square Triangles, Quarter Square Triangles and Flying Geeese in a multitude of different sizes.  We'll allow plenty of time to sew and play on your own.

Free Motion Quilting - Let's Get Started, in person sew day at Bow Bench Retreat, Carstairs AB

The Beginning of a wonderful journey to finishing your own quilts. Learn how to prepare the layers of your quilts and set up your machine for quilting. We'll learn and explore the 5 basic shapes of all free motion quilting designs and have plenty of time to create quilting motifs and practice the 5 basic shapes.

Mandala Magic Handi Quilter Virtual Event at The Quilting Connection, Elhorn WI

Gridwork not Guesswork Handi Quilter Virtual Event at CS Sewing, Traverse City MI

 

Laying out designs using gridwork creates even spacing and uniformity in quilting. In this virtual class, you'll learn how to make your own stencils, explore designs that work well within grids, and tips and tricks for marking grids on your next quilting project.

Free Motion Quilting - Moving On, in person sew day at Bow Bench Retreat, Carstairs AB

If you know the basics, we'll begin with a brief review and get into creating more quilting designs using the 5 basic shapes and learning how to size and space the motifs. We'll have a look and learn how to draw and stitch tear drop feathers. The rest of the day is yours to play and practice.
