Thursday Thread - MicroQuilter

This week on Thursday Thread I'm showing you some detailed stitching using Superior's MicroQuilter thread. MicroQuilter is a 100wt extra-fine polyester thread designed for detail quilting, invisible machine applique and stitch in the ditch.

I had planned to do some detail quilting on the snow dyed whole cloth quilt, but started with the MicroQuilter and it worked so well, I continued.

This very fine thread can create super tiny stitches and micro stitching. The bobbin is a size M for comparison.

I started with MicroQuilter 7006 Champagne, and used my rulers to stitch the area segments.

The details were stitched with MicroQuilter 7014, Baby Pink.
