Mid Summer News and Newsletter Subscription
It's the middle of the summer already!!! I have had a busy July and it looks like it's going to be a busy August as well.
LONGARM QUILTING: I've been working my way through customer quilts and my own on my longarm. I have a few customer quilts to do then I hope to spend a week or two concentrating on some of my own. I'll still take in your quilts for quilting, but really need to empty at least of my tubs of my own quilts. I'll add yours to the list and get them done as soon as I can.
SUBSCRIPTION LIST: Thank you to everyone who has signed up to the new email list. I really appreciate it as I don't like getting emails from people I have tried to unsubscribe from. If you haven't, please follow the link and subscribe. I currently have 2 lists and don't always send to both. I want to make this list complete and make sure that you never miss updates or information from me again. I'll retire the old lists soon, so, please re-subscribe to keep things up to date.
AUGUST SUMMER SEW DAYS are next month. If you haven't joined me yet for a few days of quilting/sewing/crafting, please consider the weekend of
Friday & Saturday, August 14 & 15.
There are 2 ways to join
One is to come for a day or two and do your own thing. We'll have a table for everyone with lots of room to spread out. Plenty of floor space to arrange and nice cool room to work in.
The other is to join me in a class using the Studio 180 Design tool - Wedge Star. This is another tool that makes some fantastic blocks in a wide range of variations and 22 different sizes. We'll work on a basic block and then you can explore (with guidance) some of the variations or work on a quilt using the basic block.
And Finally, I'm making available the newly updated quilt pattern I want to release soon. I wrote a series of table runner patterns in 2007 when I owned Needleworks Fabrics and Classes. I've wanted to update the patterns and re-release some of them. Lindsey's Garden Table Runner (formerly Sunflower Table Runner) is the first updated pattern. BUT I would like your help. If you have the time, please "purchase" this draft pattern, read through it, make a block, see if things look good and let me know your thoughts. Anyone who does send in their review will receive a "non-draft" copy of the pattern as my thanks.
