2026 A Year of Quilts by Studio 180 Design - March

It's March 2026! This month I'm working on the Higher Ground pattern that is highlighted in the 2026 Calendar for March.

I'm enjoying the process of working with the various tools and patterns. Patterns are available from your local quilt shops and also as PDF downloads directly from Studio 180 Design.
This month, we are limited to the Star 60 tool. I really like this tool and the instructions that come with the tool. I can make 1" triangles up to 9" triangles and half inch sizes in between. As I mention in the video, there is no math or complicate cutting for these units.

I have a stash of Hand Dyed Fabric and 3 days at a quilting retreat next week. I think a Higher Ground quilt is in the plans.
