Vacation = Planning Time

Vacation is a great time to unwind away from the daily challenges and stresses of life. I've been thinking of some ideas for the new studio.

Now that I have the 2 Handi Quilter Longarm machines in the studio I am able to increase the times when a machine is available for rental. So there will be less scheduling conflicts.

I've also been contacted by some quilters and quilters-to-be who want to learn. This has lead me to think of offering regular STITCH-IT WEEKENDS. The studio will be open and available from noon on Friday till 9ish and start again on Saturday morning at 9am until 5pm. A full 17 hours of STITCHING! What could be better?????

The 2 day STITCH-IT WEEKENDS will be totally directed by the participants. I'll be there to help as needed and give instruction.

The formats of the weekends will be as follows.

Register $60 for the whole weekend or just part! Pre-payment required as space will be limited.
Learn something or just come to sew: You determine what you want to learn
I'll offer a short demonstration at 9am on Saturdays

borders
binding
you decide what you want to learn....participant directed
bring your supplies and stitch
rent the longarm for a reduced rate
use my resources (tables, some machines, rotary cutting tools) at no charge
Bring a lunch or snack

The whole idea of these STITCH-IT WEEKENDS is to give you some dedicated time to sew with minimal interruptions and also learn some new techniques and skills if you so choose.
