Weekend shout out!
I have so many ideas and things to do and I'm slowly getting myself organised. I've set up a new desk with more table space and am able to get a bit more work done without piles of paper falling on the floor. I also rearranged the studio this week to give me a little more floor space and not feel so crowded. Whew! I'm exhausted!
In the Studio
This is a busy week for me personally, but the studio is not super busy. Longarm Rentals are available Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. I may have some time available on Friday, but I don't want to commit at this point. Call, text or email and book your rental time early. 403-819-8126.
I finished quilting 4 customer quilts this week and have a few more to do, but not too many that I can't take your quilts on for you. So, if you don't want to come and rent my machines and quilt your own, I can do it for you.
On the Calendar
I've booked a Sew/Quilt day in the Studio for Tuesday. If the weather continues warm, we'll be in a nice cool space. Bring your project and come and sew. My tools and help are available. Anytime 9am-9pm. Please pre-book so I have enough spaces set up.
Don't forget the summer classes booked for July. Contact me to register. A reminder, that you are not registered until you have paid. I've needed to set this rule as I've had classes fully booked and no one show up, even though they promised they would be at class. The easiest method of payment is an e-transfer or call with a credit card.

I am working on some fall classes. I plan to continue teaching at Pinheads Quilting Company (if they will have me!) and in my studio. I'll also be looking for other venues, so please invite me to your guild or suggest me to your favourite quilt shop.
I'm also looking at offering some Handi Quilter Pro-Stitcher workshops. I'll keep you posted on those.
On the Road
I am very thankful that I don't have any travelling booked for the next little while! I still need to finish un-packing from my last trips and get myself organised.
I am spending some time this weekend with Kim and Gary from Chatterbox Quilts. We are teaming up to shoot some quilting videos. We'll post them on our respective YouTube channels for all to see and hopefully learn! First up, we'll focus on Free Motion Quilting on domestic machines.
I'm looking for a catchy name for this weekly "shout out". Would love some alliteration....Weekend __________. Send me your ideas!
