It's a morning in front of the computer writing blog posts and doing some other "paper work". Then I am off to Pinheads Quilting Company for an afternoon of Free Motion Quilting.

In the Studio

I have a bundle of Charity quilts that I want to work on in the next week. I can slip these in between your rentals and other customer quilts.

I've cleaned up a bit and now need to find some permanent homes for my rolls of batting. They are still full roles (brand new) and take up a lot of room. I've been researching storage ideas on Pinterest and think I may have found a method I can use successfully in my space. The batting is available for purchase for quilting services and rentals

My Handi Quilter HighLight arrived yesterday. I am hoping that we can get it assembled this evening. I'll post a report on these when I've had a chance to use them on some upcoming quilts.

2019 Win Challenge

Did you register your quilting projects for January? I've had some questions regarding this challenge. No, you don't have to finish the entire project. You only have to register what you want to get done in the month.

For example. Your challenge for January may have been to make 6 blocks for a quilt. Register that information. Send me a picture by the end of the month of your 6 blocks and you'll get the 10% off quilting services or longarm rental. You'll also be entered to win 20% off quilting services or longarm rental! That's 2 separate "coupons" you can use!

Today at 1:30pm we start the Free Motion Quilting series at Pinheads Quilting Company. This is one of my most favourite classes to teach. I believe there is still room.

I'm thinking of offering a Stained Glass quilting class in the studio this spring as well as some piecing technique basic classes. Let me know if you are interested.

I've scheduled Longarm Basics classes for Thursday, February 7th. One class at 12:30 and another at 6pm. Please pre-register (403-819-8126) as space is limited.

On the Road

The studio will be closed January 20-27. I will still be available on line to book rentals and quilting service for when the studio re-opens
