Summer Adventure Day 10

Heading home now.

Sweet Pea Quilting was open when we left Parksville in the morning. I had a lovely visit with Marilyn and ...

Of course I bought some fabric! She always has the best wide backs.

Because of a booking mishap, we had to rebook our ferry ride back to the mainland, so we decided to take the ferry from Victoria and drive south.

ree

Out next stop was at Troll Bothers Quilt Design in Shawnigan Lake. A cute little converted church building filled with some amazing fabrics and all the bag supplies you could ever want!

ree

We stopped for lunch!

ree

We shared a tasting flight and some snackies at Sea Cider on our way to the ferry terminal.

ree

No ferry worries this trip. We were able to see the sites on our "cruise" across to Vancouver.

ree

And finally, we made it to our campsite at Tsawwassen RV Park for the night.

ree

Piper has learned how to get up onto the bed. I think they are getting compfy with this camping life!

Let the adventure continue!

I’ve really enjoyed reading about your adventures and the lovely quilt shops you have stopped at. Enjoy the rest of the trip!
